ACQUISITION OF LANDS
NOTICE UNDER SUB SECTION (1) OF SECTION 15 OF THE TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001 READ WITH
THE TAMIL NADU LAND ACQUISITION LAWS (REVIVAL OF OPERATION, AMENDMENT AND VALIDATION)
ACT, 2019.

The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the Schedule below to be acquired for
Highways purpose to wit, for formation of road for providing connectivity from Ennore Port to Mahabalipuram at Tiruvallur
District, Tiruvallur Taluk, No.32 Velliyur-B (Vaikasi Kandigai) and it having already been decided that the entire amount
of compensation to be awarded for the lands is to be paid out of the funds controlled and managed by the Highways
Department. The following notice is issued under sub section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001
(Tamil Nadu Act 34/2002).
NOTICE
Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the
Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the Dry Patta lands specified in the schedule below measuring 0.1594
Hectare / 1,594 Sq.Mtrs. to the same, a little more or less needed for the purpose to wit for formation of road for
providing road connectivity from Ennore Port to Mahabalipuram as part of Chennai Peripheral Ring Road Project, by
Highways department.
The Plan of the lands are kept in the office of the Special District Revenue Officer (LA), Chennai Peripheral Ring
Road Project, Chennai-600 058 and in the office of the Special Tahsildar (LA), Chennai Peripheral Ring Road Project,
Unit-III, No.6, 1st Floor, Lal Bahadur Sastri Street, Periyakuppam, Tiruvallur-602 001 and may be inspected at any
time during the office hours.
