HOME, PROHIBITION AND EXCISE DEPARTMENT

AMENDMENT TO THE NOTIFICATION UNDER THE TAMIL NADU PROHIBITION ACT, 1937

[G.O.Ms. No.26, Home, Prohibition and Excise (III-2), 10th June 2024, ைவகாசி 28,

குரோதி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2055.]

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu Prohibition

Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment

to the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No.II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of

Part II—Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently

amended:-

Amendment.

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in column (2), for the entries “Rs.13.10 (Rupees thirteen and

paise ten only) per bulk litre” against the entry “Draught Beer” in Column (1) thereof, the entries “Rs.42.60

(Rupees Forty two and paise sixty only) per bulk litre” shall be substituted.
