Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service - Deputation to the
Government of Puducherry-Orders - Issued.]
The following Government Order is Published:-

From the Registrar General, High Court of Madras,
Chennai D.O Letter No. 16/2024-Con-B2, Dated
10-05-2024.
Order No. 241, Public (Special-A), 23rd May 2024
The Government have considered the recommendation
of the High Court of Madras to depute the following District
Judges are as follows:-
(1) Tmt M.D.Sumathi, District Judge of Tamil Nadu
State Judicial Service, functioning as I Additional
Principal Judge, Family Court, Chennai to the
Puducherry Judicial Service for being posted in
the Union Territory of Puducherry as Sessions
Judge, Fast Track Court exclusively to deal with
off ences under the POCSO Act, Pondicherry, vice
Tmt V.Sofana Devi, ordered to be transferred; and
(2) Thiru S.Muruganantham, District Judge of
Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service, functioning as
V Additional Judge (TADA), City Civil Court,
Chennai to the Puducherry Judicial Service for
being posted in the Union Territory of Puducherry
as District Judge, Karaikal in the existing vacancy.
2. The Government accordingly direct that
Tmt M.D.Sumathi, District Judge of Tamil Nadu State
Judicial Service, to the Puducherry Judicial Service for being
posted in the Union Territory of Puducherry as Sessions
Judge, Fast Track Court exclusively to deal with offences
under the POCSO Act, Pondicherry, vice Tmt V.Sofana
Devi ordered to be transferred and Thiru S.Muruganantham,
District Judge of Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service, to the
Puducherry Judicial Service for being posted in the Union
Territory of Puducherry as District Judge, Karaikal in the
existing vacancy.

with offences under the POCSO Act, Pondicherry in the
Tamil Nadu State Judicial Service, for being posted as
Sessions Judge, Magalir Neethi Mandram (Fast Track
Mahila Court), Nagapattinam in the existing vacancy on
deputation basis.
