Under clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 42 of the Consumer Protection Act,

2019 (Central Act 35 of 2019) read with sub-rule (1) of rule 10 of the Consumer Protection

(Qualification for appointment, method of recruitment, procedure of appointment, term of office,

resignation and removal of the President and Members of the State Commission and District

Commission) Rules, 2020, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby re-appoints Hon’ble Thiru.Justice

R.Subbiah, Retired Judge, High Court, Madras as President of the Tamil Nadu State Consumer

Disputes Redressal Commission, for a further period of two years from 21.06.2024 to 20.06.2026

(upto the age limit of sixty-seven years).
