Whereas, it appears to the Government that total of 757 Sq.m of land is required in Arasakulam Village, Kariyapatti

Taluk in Virudhunagar District for a public purpose namely the Formation of Road From Arasakulam to Maniyapillai.

Now, therefore a declaration is hereby made that a piece of land measuring 757 Sq.m is under acquisition for

the above said project in Arasakulam Village, Kariyapatti Taluk in Virudhunagar District whose detailed description

is as follows:

This declaration is made after hearing of objections of persons interested and due enquiry as provided under section 15 of the Right to Fair Compensation and

Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act 2013 ( Central Act 30 of 2013)

No family is aﬀ ected and displaced due to this Land Acquisition. Hence Rehabilitation and Resettlement compensation is not provided to anyone.

Mines of coal, iron-stone, slate or other minerals lying under the said land or any particular portion of the said land, except such parts of the mines and minerals

which may be required to be dug or removed or used during the construction phase of the project for the purpose of which the land is being acquired, are not needed.

A Plan of the land may be inspected in the oﬃ ce of the Land Acquisition Oﬃ cer and Oﬃ ce of the Revenue Divisonal Oﬃ cer, Aruppukottai on any working day.

In the case of irrigation project, as far as possible

and in lieu of compensation to be paid for land

acquired, a minimum of one acre of land in the

Scheduled castes or the Scheduled Tribes will be

provided land equivalent to land acquired or two and

a one-half acres whichever is low.

In this case,the land owners are the

owners of many other lands, so there is

no need to provide such rehabilitation

and resettlement.

shall get one-time ﬁ nancial assistance subject to a

minimum of twenty ﬁ ve thousand rupees

Fishing rights

In cases of irrigation or hydel projects, the aﬀ ected

families may be allowed ﬁ shing rights in the

reservoirs in such manner as may be prescribed by

the appropriate Government.
