Amendments to the Notification under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

[G.O. Ms. No. 33, Home, Prohibition and Excise Department [III-2], 12th August 2024,

No. II(1)/HOPE/26/2024.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu

Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to

the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No.II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part II-Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:-

Amendments

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure, under the entry "Indian Made Foriegn Spirits (brand names of

which are specified in the Annexure) other than sacramental wine" in column (1), under the heading "PREMIUM BRANDS',

under the sub-heading "Tvl. KALS Beverages Private Limited", the entries "Courrier Nepoleon Ultra French Brandy" and

"TI's Mansion House Ultra French Brandy" shall be omitted.

Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to

the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No.II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part II-Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:-

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure, under the entry "Indian Made Foriegn Spirits (brand

names of which are specified in the Annexure) other than sacramental wine" in column (1), under the heading

"ORDINARY BRANDS", under the sub-heading "Tvl. SNJ Distillers Private Limited, the entry "Top Star Strong XXX Rum"

shall be omitted.
