APPOINTMENT OF MEMBER OF TAMIL NADU WAQF TRIBUNAL FOR A CERTAIN PERIOD

UNDER THE WAQF ACT, 1995

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (c) of sub-section (4) of Section 83 of the Waqf Act, 1995

(Central Act 43 of 1995) read with clause (c) of rule 3 and rule 5 of the Tamil Nadu Waqf Tribunal (Conditions

of Service and Procedure) Rules, 2016, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints Thiru M. Mohamed Nowsath

as member of the Tamil Nadu Waqf Tribunal for a period of three years from the date on which he enters upon

his office or till he attains 62 years of age whichever is earlier.
