LISTING “SNAKEBITE ENVENOMATION” AS A NOTIFIABLE DISEASE IN TAMIL NADU UNDER

THE TAMIL NADU PUBLIC HEALTH ACT, 1939.

In exercise of the powers conferred by section 62 of the Tamil Nadu Public Health Act 1939

(Tamil Nadu Act III of 1939), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby declares that Snakebite

shall be a notified disease in the State of Tamil Nadu for the purpose of PART II under CHAPTER VII

of the said Act.
