Diversion of registered and Unregistered cane from Co-operative,

Public and Private Sector Sugar Mills area by other Mills

(Rc No. 6356/Cane-2/2024)

In exercise of the powers conferred under Clause 6 (1) (f) of the Sugarcane (Control) Order, 1966 read with the

notiﬁ cation of Government of India, Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation, Department of Food, No.GSR 267 (E), Essential

commodities / Sugarcane dated 04.06.1977 published in the separate page No. 182 in Part II–Section 3 Sub Section (1)

of the Gazette of India Extra-ordinary dated: 04.06.1977, the Director of Sugar and the Cane Commissioner, Tamil Nadu

hereby prohibits the movement of sugarcane from demarcated/reserved area of any sugar mill in the State of Tamil Nadu

either registered or unregistered with the Co-operative, Public and Private Sector Sugar Mills during 2024-2025 crushing

season except with prior diversion orders issued by this oﬃ ce.

2. As far as the unregistered cane is concerned, the Co-operative Sugar Mills / Public Sector Sugar Mills / Private

Sector Sugar Mills are authorized to purchase the unregistered cane from their own reserved cane area, to make good the

shortfall of sugarcane to achieve the 100% capacity utilization of the factory.

3. If the Co-operative / Public Sector Sugar Mills / Private Sector Sugar Mills are not in need of unregistered sugarcane

for their crushing, they are authorized to issue a 'No Objection Certiﬁ cate' within 14 days from the receipt of such

applications from the sugarcane growers of their area so as to enable the farmers to sell their unregistered sugarcane

to some other needy sugar mills or otherwise outside the notiﬁ ed area within the State and shall report to the Director of

Sugar/Cane Commissioner and Assistant Director of Agriculture/Ex-oﬃ cio Cane Inspector.

4. If the sugar mills in the reserved area fail to issue 'No Objection Certiﬁ cate' for any reason other than the above,

(after the expiry of 14 days), the farmers of the reserved area concerned may request and report to the Assistant Director

of Agriculture/ Ex-oﬃ cio Cane Inspector of their area with proper particulars. The Assistant Director of Agriculture/Ex-oﬃ cio

Cane Inspector shall recommend the request and report to the Director of Sugar / Cane Commissioner. The Director of

Sugar/Cane Commissioner will direct the mills concerned to issue the 'No Objection Certiﬁ cate' and enable the farmers to

transport their unregistered sugarcane to some other needy sugar mills or otherwise outside the notiﬁ ed area but within the

State. The regulation shall be in force from the date of publication in the Gazette to till 30.09.2025.

Ariyanayagipuram Village in Cheranmahadevi Taluk, Sanganthiradu & Melakallur Villages in Tirunelveli Taluk in Tirunelveli

District for public purpose, namely Formation of New Canal from Marankulam to Kallurkulam under Kankeyan Anicut system

in Gadana River of Tirunelveli District. Now, therefore a declaration is made hereby that a piece of land measuring 2.05.86

Planning Act 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of power confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94, Housing and

Urban Development (4-1) Department dated.12.06.2009. Which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette

No.27, Part II—Section 2, page 226 dated 15th July 2009 and G.O.Ms.No.102, Housing and Urban Development [UD4]

sub head ANNEXURE-VI, AGRICULTURAL USE ZONE – Village Name Koothanallur.

In the Approved Koothanallur Master Plan under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of

Koothanallur Local Planning Area under heading in Village Koothanallur in S.F.No.6, 7 and 9 the following entries

should be made.

Urban Development Department dated 1st June 1984 under Section 91 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country

Planning Act, 1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following

variation under sub-section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971

(Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) to the Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026, approved in

(i). Against the entry survey Nos. 73pt, the expression Survey Nos. 73pt, (Excluding 73/4cpt (Ward-D, Block - 24,

T.S. Nos. 3/1 and 3/3)) shall be substituted.

(ii)

Under the head ANNEXURE-B-II sub head 1(b) mixed residential use zone serial No.7, MR-7, V.No.145,

Kilpadi Village after the entry survey No. 35, the expression survey Nos. 73pt (73/4cpt (Ward-D, Block-24,
