ACQUISITION OF LANDS

NOTICE UNDER SUB-SECTION (1) OF SECTION (15) OF THE TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001

(LA-VI(2)/8961877/2024)

No.VI(1)/817(a-1)/2024.

The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the Schedule below are to be

acquired for the Highways Department to wit for the “ Reconstruction of High-Level Bridge across Cauvery river at

KM.315/6-316/2 of Chennai – Trichy – Dindigul Road (SHU 9) in between Trichy and Srirangam” in Chinthamani Village

in Tiruchirapalli (East) Taluk, Ward: F, Block No.13, and Timmarayasamuthiram Village in Srirangam Taluk Ward: B,

Block No.42, Ward: C, Block No.44, in Tiruchirappalli District and it having already been decided that the amount

of compensation to be awarded for the lands are to be paid out of the funds controlled or managed by Highways

Department. The following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001

(Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).

NOTICE

Under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the lands specified in the Schedule below measuring an extent of 2283

Sq.mtrs., to the same, a little more or less needed for the “ Reconstruction of High-Level Bridge across Cauvery river

at KM.315/6-316/2 of Chennai – Trichy – Dindigul Road (SHU 9) in between Trichy and Srirangam”.

The plan of the lands is kept in the Office of the Special District Revenue Officer, (LA), Highways, Collectorate,

Tiruchirappalli and may be inspected on any day during office hours.

Village in RasipuramTaluk, in Namakkal District and it having already been decided that the amount of compensation

following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act

34 of 2002).
