In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 1 of the Tamil Nadu

Urban Local Bodies (Second Amendment) Act, 2024 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 2024), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 6^th day of January 2025, as the date on which all other sections except

sub-section (1) of section 36 of the said Act shall come into force.
