conferred by clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 9 of

the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899), the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby remits the duty chargeable

under the said Act in respect of the instrument of sale deed

to be executed between the Chennai Metropolitan Water

Supply and Sewerage Board and the Tamil Nadu Industrial

Development Corporation Limited in respect of land

measuring 14.26 acres in Village No.92, Kattupalli, Ponneri

Taluk, Thiruvallur District comprising survey numbers

conferred by section 78A of the Registration Act, 1908

(Central Act XVI of 1908), the Governor of Tamil Nadu is of

the opinion that it is necessary in public interest to remit the

fee payable under the said Act in respect of the instrument

of sale deed to be executed between the Chennai

Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board and the

Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited in

respect of land measuring 14.26 acres in Village No.92,

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from

a number of depositors that Messrs Sri Kandhan Nagar,

Patlur nall road, Anthiyur, Erode District, a financial

establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits made

by the depositors after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that

the said financial establishment is not likely to return the

deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, in addition to the movable

and immovable properties ad-interimly attached in the

Government Order first read above, the immovable

properties specified in the Schedule to this Order also

are alleged to have been procured by the said financial

establishment from and out of the deposits collected

from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable properties of the defaulted financial

establishment, namely, Messers Sri Kandhan Nagar,

Patlur nall road, Anthiyur, Erode District, as specified in

Jan. 8, 2025]

the Schedule to this Order, and transfers the control

over the said immovable properties to the Competent

Authority, namely, the Competent Authority and District

2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue

action in accordance with the procedure laid down in

sub-sections (3) and (4) of Section 4 of the said Act and

also the formalities prescribe in the Tamil Nadu Protection of

Interests of Depositors (in financial Establishments)

Rules, 1997.

3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court

for the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors

(in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Coimbatore

is requested to render necessary assistance to the

Competent Authority and District Revenue Officer, Erode

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a

number of depositors that Messrs V.K.L. Dairies Limited,

Ramanathapuram District, a financial establishment, has

defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors

after maturity;

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from

a number of depositors that Messrs Pavi Agrotech India

Private Limited and Thamizh Assets India Private Limited,

Thiruvannamalai District, financial establishments, have

defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors

after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that

the said financial establishments are not likely to return

the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, since, no other properties that are

procured from and out of the deposits collected from the

depositors are available for attachment, it is proposed to

attach the immovable property specified in the Schedule to

this Order which was purchased prior to the commencement

of the said business;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of

Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable property in the name of Thiru.G.Parthiban

(A-5), S/o. R.Gnanavel (A-4) of the defaulted financial

establishments Messrs Pavi Agrotech India Private Limited

and Thamizh Assets India Private Limited, Thiruvannamalai,

functioned at Door No.1/1, Gandhi Nagar Main Road, 4th

Street, Muthuplaza Complex, 2nd Floor, Thiruvannamalai

and Door No.114, Ammaniyamman Gopuram Street,

Thiruvannamalai, as specified in the Schedule to this Order

and transfers the control over the said immovable property

to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent

Authority and District Revenue Officer, Thiruvannamalai

District, appointed under the said Act.

2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue

Officer, Thiruvannamalai District is requested to pursue

further action in accordance with the procedure laid down in

sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the said Act and also

the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection of

Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Rules,

1997.

3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for

the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Chennai is requested

to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority

and District Revenue Officer, Tiruvannamalai District, in

filing the application before the Special Court constituted

under the said Act.
