Amendment To List Of Backward Classes.

[G.O.Ms. No 3, Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare [BCC(1)],

28th January 2025, தை 15, குரோதி, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.]

No. II(1)/BCMBCMW/5/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (a) of section 3 of the

Tamil Nadu Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of seats in Educational

Institutions and of appointments or posts in the Services under the State) Act, 1993 (Tamil Nadu Act 45 of 1994),

the

Governor

of

Tamil

Nadu

hereby

makes

the

following

amendment

to

the

Backward

Classes,

Most Backward Classes and Minorities Welfare Department's, Notification No.II(1)BCMBCMW/36(a)/2008 published at

Pages 1 to 9 of Part II-Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the 5th September 2008,

as subsequently amended.

AMENDMENT

In the said Notification, in THE SCHEDULE, in the heading, LIST OF BACKWARD CLASSES, BACKWARD CLASS

CHRISTIANS, BACKWARD CLASS MUSLIMS, MOST BACKWARD CLASSES AND DENOTIFIED COMMUNITIES,

under the sub-heading I-List of Backward Classes, for Serial No.1 and the entry relating thereto, the following

Serial Numbers and the entries shall respectively, be substituted namely:-

"1. Agamudayar

1A.Thozhu or Thuluva Vellala".
