In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 49 of the Tamil Nadu

Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1999) and in supersession of the Municipal

Administration and Water Supply Department Notification No. II(2)/MAWS/871(e-1)/2021, published

at pages 1-2 of Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette, Extraordinary, dated the

14th December 2021, the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby constitutes twenty wards committee for the Greater

Chennai Corporation and each of the said wards committee specified in column (2) of the Table below shall

comprise the wards specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) thereof:-
