In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Tamil Nadu

Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after considering

the objections and recommendations received, hereby declares the entire local areas specified in column

(2) of the table below as municipal councils, the intention of the same having been previously published, as

required under sub-section (1-A) of section 3 of the said Act.
