Parsi Community who are natives of Tamil Nadu as

Religious Minority in the State of Tamil Nadu in addition to

the five Communities already notified as Religious Minorities

Order:- No. 161, Home (SC), dated 28th March 2025.

Thiru Chandrasekar Umapathy, Area Commander,

Home Guards, Chennai City, was awarded the Tamil Nadu

Chief Minister's Home Guards Medal for Outstanding

Devotion to Duty (Anna Medal) in the year, 2022, in the

order first read above and he was sanctioned lumpsum

grant in the order second read above.

2. In the letter 3rd read above, the Director Genenal

of Police/Head of Police Force, Chennai has informed that

Thiru Chandrasekar Umapathy, Area Commander, was

awarded Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Home Guards Medal

for Outstaning Devotion to Duty (Anna Medal) in the year,

2022 and that he was dealt with on a charge under rule (12)

of Tamil Nadu Home Guards Rules, 1963 and removed from

the Home Guards Service on 05.06.2023 and requested to

cancel the above Medal as well as the lumpsum grant.

3 The Government, after careful examination of the

Proposal of the Drector General of Police/Head of Police

Force,Tamil Nadu, with reference to the rules governing

the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Home Guards Medal

for Outstanding Devotion to Duty (Anna Medal), have

decided to accept the Proposal and to cancel of the said

Medal, awarded to Thiru Chandrasekar Umapathy, Area

Commander in the year, 2022 as well as the lumpsum grant.

4. Accordingly, the Government Order that the

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's Home Guards Medal for

Outstanding Devotion to Duty (Anna Medal) awarded to

Thiru Chandrasekar Umapathy, Area Commander, in the

order first read above and now removed from Home Guards

Service, is hereby cancelled.

5. The lumpsum grant sanctioned to him in the order

second read above shall be credited into the respective

Government Head of Account.

has defaulted the return of deposits made by the

the said financial establishment is not likely to return the

deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

WHEREAS,

specified in the Schedule to this Order are alleged to

have been procured by the said financial establishment

from and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act,1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable properties of A2-M. Radha Krishnan

(Proprietor) of the defaulted financial establishment

Messrs Sri Tejomayananda Finance, functioned at

vattavilai Pacode, Kanniyakumari District, as specified

in the Schedule to this Order and transfers the control

over the said immovable properties to the Competent

Authority,

namely,

2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue

conferred by sub-section (2) of section 125 of the

Tamil Nadu Panchayats Act, 1994 (Tamil Nadu Act 21

of 1994), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby excludes

the land situated within the boundaries of the Kaniyamur

Village, Kaniyamur Village Panchayat, Kallakurichi Taluk

and District with the total extent as mentioned in the

Schedule below, be the same or a little more or less

from the operation of the said Act, with effect on and
