REDUCTION OF STAMP DUTY AND REGISTRATION FEE IN RESPECT OF INSTRUMENTS EVIDENCING

TRANSFER OF PROPERTY REGARDING AMALGAMATION OR RECONSTRUCTION OF COMPANIES –

ORDERS – ISSUED – EXTENDED TO THE SCHEMES SANCTIONED BY THE GOVERNMENT OF INDIA IN

RESPECT OF GOVERNMENT COMPANIES UNDER THE REGISTRATION ACT, 1908.

AMENDMENT TO NOTIFICATION.

WHEREAS, the Governor of Tamil Nadu is of the opinion that it is necessary so to do in the public interest and in

exercise of powers conferred by section 78-A of the Registration Act, 1908 (Central Act XVI of 1908), he hereby makes

the following amendment to Registration Department Notification No.II(2)/CTR/809(e-2)/2022, published at page 2 of

Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary dated 17th October 2022:-

Amendment.

In the said Notification, after the expression “the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction”, the expression

“or the Government of India” shall be inserted.
