Amendments to the Notification under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

[G.O.Ms. No. 30, Home, Prohibition and Excise (III-1), 25th April 2025,

சித்திரைை 12, விசுவாாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.]

No. II(1)/HOPE/9/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu

Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to

the Prohibition and Excise Department's Notification No. II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part II—Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended, namely:-

Amendment

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure, under the heading "UNCLASSIFIED BRANDS", and

sub-heading "Thiruvalargal Cumbum Valley Winery Private Limited", after the entry "Muscato C Valley", the entries "RED

Sea Classic Fortified Wine" and "Misty Vintage Red Wine" shall be added.

Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to

the Prohibition and Excise Department Notificaton No. II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part II—Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:-

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure under the entry "Indian Made Foreign Spirits (brand names of

which are specified in the Annexure) other than sacramental wine" in column (1), under the heading "MEDIUM BRANDS"

under the sub-heading "Thiruvalargal Shiva Distilleries Private Limited", The entries "Cosmopolitan Whisky" and "Cardinal

No. 1 Whisky" shall be omitted.
