Tailoring Co-operative Society Ltd., IND No.38, Vellore District have been ordered to be wound up with immediate
effect by the Industries Commissioner and Director of Industries and Commerce / Registrar of Co-operative Societies
(Industrial Cooperatives), Chennai vide Proc. No. 12334/ICC1/2024-1 dated: 04.2025.

Notification regarding the Arrangements made by Principal Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai for
Attending Urgent Criminal Matters During Summer Vacation, 2025.

1. In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 10(3) of the Criminal Procedure Code, 1973 and Under
Section 8(8) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. the Principal Sessions Judge, City Civil Court,
Chennai makes the following arrangements for attending Urgent Criminal Work during Summer Vacation, 2025
(01.05.2025 to 01.06.2025).
2. Thiru. R. Rajkumar, M.A., M.L., XIX Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai will be incharge of Criminal
Work during Summer Vacation from 01.05.2025 to 16.05.2025.
3. Tmt. C. Umamaheswari, M.L., XVIII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai will be incharge of Criminal
Work during Summer Vacation from 17.05.2025 to 01.06.2025.
4. The Vacation Sessions Judge will hold the sittings on Wednesdays in every week in the III Additional City
Civil Court Hall, Chennai during the vacation for the disposal of urgent Criminal matters.
5. The Vacation Sessions Judge will also be incharge of Remand Work, Remand extension Works and all other
Criminal Works during Summer Vacation, 2025 for all Vacation Courts i.e., Principal Judge's Court and Additional
City Civil Courts, Chennai.
6. The cases which requires remand extension during Vacation shall be placed before the Vacation Judge concerned
for the purpose of Remand extension either on Tuesday or Wednesday. The Additional City Civil Courts, may, assign
the date for remand extensión cases accordingly.
7. The Chief Administrative Officer, City Civil and Sessions Court, Chennai will look after the administrative work
during Summer Vacation, 2025. In the absence of the Chief Administrative Officer, Tmt. V.G. Shanthi, Sherishtadar,
City Civil Court, Chennai will act as Vacation Officer and in her absence Thiru.P.J. Amul Raj, Sherishtadar, City Civil
Court, Chennai will act as Vacation Officer.
Procedure for the Receipt and Disposal of Urgent Criminal Matters During Summer Vacation, 2025.
8. All urgent applications shall be received upto 2.00 p.m and the matters will be taken up as detailed below by
the Vacation Sessions Judge at 10.30 am in the III Additional City Civil Court Hall, Chennai on the following days :-
1st week
Filing will be on 06.05.2025 (Tuesday), sitting will be on 07.05.2025 (Wednesday).
2nd week
Filing will be on 13.05.2025 (Tuesday), sitting will be on 14.05.2025 (Wednesday).
3rd week
Filing will be on 20.05.2025 (Tuesday), sitting will be on 21.05.2025 (Wednesday).
4th week

The Presidency Court of Small Causes, Chennai will remain closed for the Summer Vacation of 2025 from
01.05.2025 to 01.06.2025. During Summer vacation the First turn will be from 01.05.2025 to 16.05.2025 and the
Second turn of the vacation will be from 17.5.2025 to 01.06.2025.
The Office of the Court of Small Causes, Chennai will function from Monday to Wednesday and Friday
every week from 10 A.M to 4.30 P.M and on Thursday (i.e) court sitting day, from 10 A.M to 5.45 P.M. during
the Summer Vacation 2025.
Tmt.S.Tamilsevi, B.A.,LLM., IV Judge, Court of Small Causes, Chennai will be the Vacation Judge for First turn
from 01.05.2025 to 16.05.2025.

turn from 17.05.2025 to 01.06.2025.
Tmt. V. Viswatha, B.A., LLB(Hons)., LLM., Registrar, Court of small Causes, Chennai will be the Vacation
Officer for Vacation period from 01.05.2025 to 01.06.2025.
The Filing Section will be functioning on every Wednesdays and the sitting of the Judge will be on every
Thursdays during the Summer Vacation 2025. The Vacation Judge unless otherwise notified will sit on Thursday
of every week during the Summer Vacation, to dispose the emergent petitions. No fresh plaint petition, no
Rent Control Appeals or other matters will be received during the period of vacation, unless it is urgent and
it is accompanied by an application duly supported by an Affidavit showing the urgency.
The Copyist Section will function during summer vacation period from 10.30 a.m to 3.00 p.m for the
purpose of receiving copy applications and also for delivering the certified copies which were already made
ready. Further no fresh certified copy will be made ready during summer vacation.
The Nazir Section will function during Summer Vacation and Process Applications will be received between
10.30. A.M and 3.00 P.M on Wednesdays. Warrants will be issued only on Wednesdays and Thursdays of the
respective weeks, which were already filed and made ready. Warrants which are being filed on Wednesday will
be made ready and it will be issued only on the next day (i.e) Thursday. If the Warrants returned for reasons,
(i.e. since Police protection not available), the same will be re-issued only on next Wednesday or Thursday, if
the Petitioner/Decree holder wants to execute the Warrant and makes such endorsement.
The Office of the Registrar will be kept open during Summer Vacation but the urgent matters will be received on
Wednesdays during the vacation and such matters will be posted before the Vacation Judges for the hearing on the
succeeding Thursday in the open court.
Payments will be received in the Treasury Section on Wednesdays and Thursdays of every week and payment
will be made from 02.05.2025 to 13.05.2025 during the Vacation, when the Vacation Judge is holding courts and on
orders made by the vacation Judge for such payments.

In the Approved Tiruvarur Master Plan under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers of
Tiruvarur Local Planning Area under heading in Ward-2, Block-48, T.S. No.2940/1B2 the following entries shall be made.
Against the entry of Agriculture use zone (Ag 2) instead of the expression "TS No 2940", the following expression
"T.S. No 2940pt (Except 2940/1B2)" shall be substituted
