DATE OF COMING INTO FORCE OF THE TAMIL NADU HOSTELS AND HOMES FOR

WOMEN AND CHILDREN (REGULATION) AMENDMENT ACT, 2024

(TAMIL NADU ACT 37 OF 2024).

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 1 of the Tamil Nadu Hostels and Homes for Women

and Children (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2024 (Tamil Nadu Act 37 of 2024), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints

the 27th day of May 2025, as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.

NOTIFYING ONLINE PORTAL OF THE TAMIL NADU HOSTELS AND HOMES FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Hostels and Homes for Women

and Children (Regulation) Amendment Act, 2024 (Tamil Nadu Act 37 of 2024), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby notifies

‘e-Sevai portal’ as the online portal for the purpose of this Act.
