Amendment to the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

[G.O.Ms. No. 50, Home, Prohibition and Excise (III-1), 3rd June 2025,

வைைகாாசி 20, விசுவாவசு, திருவள்ளுவர் ஆண்டு-2056.]

No. II(1)/HOPE/17/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu

Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to

the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No.II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part Il—Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:-

Amendment.

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure under the entry "Indian Made Foreign Spirits

(brand names of which are specified in the Annexure) other than sacramental wine" in column (1), under the heading

"ORDINARY BRANDS", under the sub-heading "Thiruvalargal Empee Distilleries Limited", the entry "Mclene Brandy", shall

be omitted.

the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No.II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part Il—Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:-

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure under the entry "Indian Made Foreign Spirits (brand names of

which are specified in the Annexure) other than sacramental wine" in column (1), under the heading "PREMIUM BRANDS",

under the sub-heading "Thiruvalargal SNJ Distillers Private Limited", the entry "Hobbs XO French Brandy", shall be omitted.
