Amendments to the Notification under the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Act.

[G.O.Ms. No. 67, Home, Prohibition and Excise (III-1), 4th July 2025,

No. II(1)/HOPE/20/2025.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 18-B of the Tamil Nadu

Prohibition Act, 1937 (Tamil Nadu Act X of 1937), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendments to

the Prohibition and Excise Department Notification No.II(1)/PE/239(d)/81, published at page 2 of Part Il—Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 1st May 1981, as subsequently amended:-

Amendments.

In the said Notification, in the TABLE, in the Annexure under the entry "Indian Made Foreign Spirits

(brand names of which are specified in the Annexure) other than sacramental wine" in column (1), under the heading

"ORDINARY BRANDS", under the sub-heading "Thiruvalargal Midas Golden Distilleries (Private) Limited", the following

entries shall be omitted, namely:-

" "Capton Brandy", and

" Capton Rum" ".
