In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (d) of sub-section (2) of section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies

Act, 1998 (Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1999), the Governor of Tamil Nadu, after considering the objections and recommendations

received, hereby declares the entire local areas of Harur Town Panchayat, Mobiripatti Village Panchayat and Dhoddampatti

Village Panchayat as Harur Municipal Council, the intention of the same having been previously published, as required

under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act.

Based on the above constitution, wards will be divided for the next general election.
