In exercise of the powers conferred under section 5 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998 (Tamil Nadu

Act 9 of 1999) and sub-rule (4) of rule 112 & 171 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Rules, 2023, the Tamil Nadu

State Election Commission hereby fixes 24.09.2025 as the date for convening meetings to elect the Chairperson, Vice

Chairperson, Chairperson of Wards Committee, Chairperson of Taxation and Finance Committee, Chairperson of Town

Planning Committee and Member of Taxation Appeals Committee shown in the Annexure, in accordance with the following

programme:-

Last date for service of notice for the meetings of election Chairperson,

Vice Chairperson, Chairperson of Wards Committee, Chairperson

of Taxation and Finance Committee, Chairperson of Town Planning

Committee and Member of Taxation Appeals Committee as the case

may be.
