into Ambalakkarar (Suriyanur, Karur District) Recommended by Tamil Nadu Backward Classes Commission

No. II(1)/BCMBCMW/27/2025.—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 3 of the Tamil Nadu

Backward Classes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Reservation of seats in Educational Institutions and

of appointments or posts in the Services under the State) Act, 1993 (Tamil Nadu Act 45 of 1994), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to the Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes and Minorities

Welfare Department's, Notification No.II(1) BCMBCMW/36(a)/2008 published at Pages 1 to 9 of Part II—Section 1 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary, dated the 5th September 2008, as subsequently amended:-

Amendment.

In the said Notification, in THE SCHEDULE, in the heading, LIST OF BACKWARD CLASSES, BACKWARD

CLASS MUSLIMS, MOST BACKWARD CLASSES AND DENOTIFIED COMMUNITIES, under the sub-heading "V-List

of Denotified Communities" in Sl.No.5, for the entry "Ambalakkarar (Suriyanur, Tiruchirappalli District)" the entry

"Ambalakkarar (Suriyanur, Karur District)" shall be substituted.
