Development Department dated 1st June 1984 under Section 91 (1) of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning

Act, 1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation

under Sub-section (4) of Section 32 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of

1972) to the Second Master Plan for Chennai Metropolitan Area 2026, approved in G.O.(Ms) No.190 Housing & Urban

is ordered in G.O.(2D). No.242, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(L. Re-1)] Department, dated: 14.08.2025.

In exercise of powers delegated by the Government in G.O.(Ms). No.102, Housing and Urban Development

[UD4(L. Re-1)] Department, dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the approved Master Plan of

Salem Local Planning Area approved in the G.O.(Ms). No.105, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)] Department,

In the Consented Salem Steel Plant New Town Development Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in survey

numbers of Salem Steel Plant New Town Development Plan, under heading V.No.42, Idanganasalai Village in Page

No.113, the following entries of S.F.Nos.92, 151, 161 & 162 should be made accordingly.

Under the heading “AGRICULTURAL USE ZONE AG-23”, the expressions “S.F.No.92” shall be deleted and the

expressions “92 (Excluding S.F.Nos.92/6A1, 92/6A2)” shall be substituted.

In the Review Approved Tiruppur Master Plan, in the Land use Schedule, under the heading in Pudupalayam

Village at page S-33, with regard to S.F. Nos. 421/2 the following entries should be made.

Under the sub heading Land use zone in the S.F. No. Against the entry of “MIXED RESIDENTIAL USE

(MR-14)’’ the expression “421/2’’ shall be inserted before the expression “424’’.

Under the sub heading Land use zone in the S.F. No. Against the entry “AGRICULTURAL USE (AG-7)’’ the

expression “416 to 423’’, shall be Deleted and the expression “416 to 420 and 422, 423, all subdivisions of 421 except

421/2 shall be substituted.
