APPOINTMENT OF TAMIL NADU BOVINE BREEDING AUTHORITY UNDER THE

TAMIL NADU BOVINE BREEDING ACT, 2019

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Bovine Breeding

Act, 2019 (Tamil Nadu Act 31 of 2019), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoint the Director of Animal

Husbandry and Veterinary Services, as the Tamil Nadu Bovine Breeding Authority.

2. The said Authority shall perform the functions specified under the various provisions of the said Act

and the rules made thereunder with immediate effect.
