NOTIFICATION UNDER THE BHARATIYA NAGARIK SURAKSHA SANHITA, 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 218 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,

2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby directs that the provisions of sub-section (2) of the

said section 218 shall apply to all the classes and categories of police personnel of the Tamil Nadu Police charged with

the maintenance of public order, wherever they may be serving.
