STATUTORY ORDER UNDER THE BHARATIYA NAGARIK SURAKSHA SANHITA, 2023

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 37 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023

(Central Act 46 of 2023), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby designates the Special Sub-Inspector of Police and in

case of non-availability of the said post, the Sub-Inspector of Police in every police station and police control room in

every district and city, as the police officer who shall be responsible for maintaining the information as specified under

clause (b) of section 37 of the said Central Act 46 of 2023.
