NOTIFICATION UNDER THE TAMIL NADU TRANSPARENCY IN TENDERS ACT, 1998

[G.O.Ms.No.6, Finance (Procurement Cell), 9th January 2026,

Margazhi 25, Visuvaavasu, Thiruvalluvar Aandu-2056.]

No. II(2)/FIN/16(c)/2026.

In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (bb) of Section 16 of the Tamil Nadu Transparency in Tenders Act,

1998 (Tamil Nadu Act 43 of 1998), the Governor of Tamil Nadu here by;-

1) notifies the Government e-Marketplace-Special Purpose Vehicle for using the services of the platform for

procurement through rate contract, online bidding, online reverse auction or any other mechanism provided by

the said GeM SPV; and

2) notifies the Government e-Marketplace portal, -

i. for the procurement of vehicles by any procuring entity through online bidding;

ii. for the procurement of goods and services for Central Sector Schemes or Centrally Sponsored Schemes

where the Government of India has mandated procurement through GeM portal;
