As per the Orders of the Hon’ble High Cout, Madras in the Official Memorandum R.O.C No.98708-A/2025/C3,

dated: 01.12.2025, the Notice is hereby given that the District Court, Nagapattinam and all the other Subordinate

Civil Courts including the Subordinate Court, Nagapattinam and the District Munsif Court, Nagapattinam will be

closed during the following mentioned periods of Summer Vacation, Dussehra Holidays, Christmas Holidays and

Government Holidays in the year 2026.

I. Period of Summer Vacation, Dussehra Holidays and Christmas Holidays to the District Court, Nagapattinam,

Subordinate Court, Nagapattinam and District Munsif Court, Nagapattinam for the year 2026 are as follows:

The First two weeks of May 2026 (i.e. from 01.05.2026 to 15.05.2026) are declared as holidays for

the Family Court, Nagapattinam. The Office of the Family Court, Nagapattinam shall function during

the said period.

The Family Court, Nagapattinam shall also work on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of every month, except

on 07.11.2026 and on those Saturday which are declared as Public Holidays. In lieu of 07.11.2026

No Plaints or Petitions except applications for grant of copies and for service and execution of process will be

received during the above Holidays.

The Office of the Copyist and Process Service Establishments will be kept open throughout the Summer vacation.,

Dussehra holidays and Christmas holidays but no arrest warrants will be executed during the period of adjournment.

The Office of the other Establishments shall remain closed. Arrangements shall however be made for the following:

1. For furnising necessary records to the Copyist and Process Service Establishments for preparation of

copies and process respectively.

2. For transmitting records in appeal and Sessions cases to the Hon'ble High Court Madras.

3. For all Administrative Matters.

The vacation Civil Judge will attend for the disposal of urgent Civil works during the Summer Vacation 2026,

There will be normally two sittings of the Court on every week. The sitting will be adjusted having regard to the work

available and if sufficient work is not available, there will be one sitting in a week.

During the period of Vacation, urgent applications for bail and other Sessions works will be attended by the District

and Sessions Judge, to be appointed and the Preside over the Sessions Divisions of Nagapattinam by the Hon'ble

High Court Madras under powers conferred by Section 483 of the BNNS 2023.

urban Development [UD 4-(1)] Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in the Tamil Nadu Government

Gazette No.27, Part II—Section 2, Page No.228, dated 15.07.2009.

2. Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O(2Pa)No.321,

Housing and Urban Development [UD4(Ni.Pa.Ma-1)] Department dated 02.12.2025. The following variations are made to

the Hosur Development plan 2046 of approved Hosur New Town Development Authority under the said act and published

in the G.O.Ms.No.08, Housing and urban Development [UD 4-(1)] Department dated 20.01.2025 and published in the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Extraordinary Notification No.32] II(2)/HOU/69(a)/2025 at Part II—Section 2, dated

22nd January 2025.

Draft Variation

In the approved Hosur Development Plan 2046 under the heading permitted Land use in various survey numbers

of Hosur New Town Development Planning area under heading in Achettipalli Village Page No.255 & 256 in S.F.Nos.

1239/1A, 1239/1B, 1244/1, 1245, 1246, 1247/1, 1247/2, 1248/1B, 1248/2, 1249/1, 1249/2 & 1250/1A the following entries

should be made.

(i)

Under the heading “Residential use” the following S.F.Nos.1239/1A, 1239/1B shall be added after the

S.F.No.1229 and S.F.Nos.1244/1, 1245, 1246, 1247/1, 1247/2, 1248/1B, 1248/2, 1249/1, 1249/2 & 1250/1A

shall be added after the S.F.No.1243 of Achettipalli village in the Sl.No.1 of Page No.255.

(ii)

Under the heading “Agricultural use” the following in Sl.No.5 of Page No.256, S.f.Nos.1238, 1239 (except

1239/1A, 1239/1B), 1240, 1241 shall be substituted instead of 1238 to 1241, S.F.No.1244 (except 1244/1)
