1880 (Central Act XII of 1880), the Governor of

Tamil

Nadu

hereby

appoints

Thiru.

S.A.Sikkandar

Badhusha, S/o. Thiru. Abdul Rahman, residing at 22F,

Kamaliya Street, Koothanallur, Needamangalam Taluk,

Thiruvarur District, as the Kazi for Thiruvarur District.

He shall hold the office of the District Kazi for a period of

three years from the date of issue of this order.

[Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44

of 1997) – Messrs SVS Jewellers (OPC) Private Limited,

Dharmapuri District - Default in return of deposits by the

financial establishment - Ad-interim order attaching the

movable and immovable properties of the said financial

establishment under section 3 of the said Act - Orders

- Issued.]

The following Government Order is published:-

No.C1/EOW/7807/2024, dated 01.04.2025.

Order:- No. 209, Home (Police-XIX), dated

3rd November 2025.

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from

a number of depositors that Messrs SVS Jewellers

(OPC) Private Limited, Dharmapuri District, a financial

establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits made

by the depositors after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that

the said financial establishment is not likely to return the

deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, in addition to the immovable

properties ad-interimly attached in the Government order

first read above, the movable and immovable properties

specified in the Schedule to this order standing in the

name of the accused V.J.Sabarishankar (Director of the

defaulted financial establishment) are believed to have

been procured by the said financial establishment from

and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching

the movable and immovable properties of accused

Private Limited, functioned at PR Sundaram Street, Near

Government Girls Higher Secondary school, Dharmapuri

Town and VOC Nagar, Harur, Dharmapuri District, as

specified in the Schedule to this order and transfers the

control over the said movable and immovable properties

to the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent

Authority and District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri District

appointed under the said Act.

The

Competent

Authority

and

District

Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri

District is requested

to pursue further action in accordance with the

procedure laid down in sub-sections (3) and (4)

of section 4 of the said Act and also the formalities

prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of

Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Rules, 1997.

3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court

for the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors

(in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Coimbatore is

requested to render necessary assistance to the Competent

Authority and District Revenue Officer, Dharmapuri District

in filing the application before the Special Court constituted

under the said Act.

Dindigul District - Default in return of deposits by the

financial establishment - Ad-interim order attaching the

immovable properties of the said financial establishment

under Section 3 of the said Act - Orders - Issued.]

The following Government Order is published:-

Order:- No. 230, Home (Police-XIX) dated

10th November 2025.

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from

a number of depositors that Messrs Sri Nagadevathai

Bankers, Dindigul District, a financial establishment, has

defaulted the return of deposits made by the depositors

after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that

the said financial establishment is not likely to return the

deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, in addition to the movable properties

ad-interimly attached in the Government order first read

above, the immovable properties specified in serial

numbers 5 to 18 of the Schedule to this order are alleged

to have been procured by the accused persons of the

said financial establishment from and out of the deposits

collected from the depositors;

AND WHEREAS, since, the value of the above

mentioned properties are not sufficient to repay the

depositors, the Government consider that the immovable

properties mentioned in serial numbers 1 to 4 of the

Schedule to this Order which were purchased prior to

commencement of business, are also fit to be attached

under section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests

of Depositors (in Financial Establishments) Act, 1997

(Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997);

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable properties of Accused No.2-Balaguru,

S/o.Varadharaj Naidu, A3-V.Vijayakumar, S/o.Varadharaj

Naidu and Tmt.Kowsalya, W/o.Balaguru (A2) of the

defaulted financial establishment, namely, Messrs Sri

Nagadevathai Bankers functioned at Santhai Opposite,

Vedasandur Road, Kovilur, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul

District, as specified in the Schedule to this Order and

transfers the control over the said immovable properties to

the Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority

and District Revenue Officer, Dindigul District appointed

under the said Act.

2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue

Officer, Dindigul District is requested to pursue further

action in accordance with the procedure laid down in

sub-sections (3) and (4) of Section 4 of the said Act and

also the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Rules, 1997.

3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for

the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Madurai is requested

to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority

and District Revenue Officer, Dindigul District for filing the

application before the Special Court constituted under the

said Act.

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a

number of depositors that Messrs Hammed Transport,

Thanjavur District, a financial establishment, has defaulted

the return of deposits made by the depositors after

maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that

the said financial establishment is not likely to return the

TAMIL  NADU  GOVERNMENT  GAZETTE

deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, the immovable properties specified

in the Schedule to this order are alleged to have been

procured / settled by the accused A2-Musthafa of the

said financial establishment from and out of the deposits

collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable properties which were purchased and

settled by the accused No.2-Musthafa, S/o.Mohamad

Haneefa to Thiru.Mohamad Haneefa (father), Thiru.

Mohamad Abdullah (brother) and Tmt.Mariyam Beevi

(sister) through registered settlement deeds, in connection

with the default financial establishment, M/s.Hammed

Transport, functioned at Door No. 47A, Railway Station

Road, Ayyampetai, Papanasam Taluk, Thanjavur District,

as specified in the Schedule to this order and transfers

the control over the said immovable properties to the

Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority

and District Revenue Officer, Thanjavur District, appointed

under the said Act.

2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue

Officer, Thanjavur District is requested to pursue further

action in accordance with the procedure laid down in

sub-sections (3) and (4) of Section 4 of the said Act and

also the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Rules, 1997.

3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for

the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Madurai is requested

to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority

and District Revenue Officer, Thanjavur District in filing the

application before the Special Court constituted under the

said Act.

Permanent Fund Nidhi Limited, Chennai, a financial

establishment, has defaulted the return of deposits made

AND WHEREAS, in addition to the movable properties

ad-interimly attached in the Government Order first read

above, the immovable properties specified in the Schedule

to this order are alleged to have been procured by the

said financial establishment from and out of the deposits

collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by Section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable properties of the defaulted financial

establishment, namely, Messrs The Mylapore Hindu

Permanent Fund Nidhi Limited, Chennai, functioned at

No.22 & 24, South Mada Street, Mylapore, Chennai,

as specified in the Schedule to this order and transfers

the control over the said immovable properties to the

Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority /

Superintendent of Police (Head Quarters), Economic

Offences Wing, Chennai, appointed under the said Act.

2. The Competent Authority / Superintendent of Police

(Head Quarters), Economic Offences Wing, Chennai is

requested to pursue further action in accordance with the

procedure laid down in sub-sections (3) and (4) of Section 4

of the said Act and also the formalities prescribed in

the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Rules, 1997.

3. The District Revenue Officers, Chengalpattu,

Tiruchirappalli,

Cuddalore,

Thoothukudi,

Tirunelveli,

Dindigul, Tiruvallur, Villupuram and Chennai are requested

to render necessary assistance in attachment process on

the properties located in their districts, to the Competent

Authority / Superintendent of Police (Head Quarters),

Economic Offences Wing, Chennai.

4. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for

the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Chennai is requested

to render necessary assistance to the Competent

Authority / Superintendent of Police (Head Quarters),

Economic Offences Wing, Chennai in filing the application

before the Special Court constituted under the said Act.
