In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section (1) of the Tamil Nadu Lifts and Escalators

(Amendment) Act, 2025 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 2025), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the 03rd day of

February 2026, as the date on which the said Act shall come into force.
