Roc. No. E3/592323/2023, dated 11.08.2025. The notification pertains to the acquisition of a total extent of 6.66.40

Hectares of land across 24 survey numbers including S.No.124/1 in Malaipatti Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi

District. This acquisition is intended for the public purpose of excavating a new supply canal to divert surplus water

from the Uppar Odai during the rainy season to the Ottapidaram Periya Kulam, in addition to the lands already acquired

for the said project. The original notification was published on pages 2 and 3 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette

No. 37A, dated 17.09.2025.

1971 the Member-Secretary, Chennai Metropolitan Development Authority hereby makes the following variation under

Variation to the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan for the Local Planning Area

In exercise of power conferred under sub-section (4) of the Section 32 of Tamil Nadu Town and Country

Planning Act, 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) and exercise of powers confirmed by the G.O.Ms.No.94 Housing and

Urban Development (4-1) Department dated 12.06.2009 which has been published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette

No. 27, Part II—Section 2 dated 15.07.2009.

Land use zone conversion from Agricultural use zone into Residential use zone ordered in G.O.(2D)No.13,

Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] Department dated 09.01.2026. subject to conditions the following variation

are made to the approved Master Plan of Coimbatore Local Planning Area under the said act and published in the

G.O.Ms.No. 103 Housing and Urban Development [UD4(1)] dated 04.07.2025 notification No. II(2)/HOU/582(m)/2025

at Part II—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 07.07.2025.

Variation

In the Approved Coimbatore Master Plan, under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers

of Coimbatore Local Planning Area, under heading in Idigarai Village, Page No:73,74,75,76,77 the S.F.Nos:41/1A1,

41/1A2,41/1B1,41/1B2,41/2A and 41/2B the following entries should be made.

Under the heading “Residential land use” the expression S.F.Nos. 41/1A1,41/1A2,41/1B1,41/1B2,41/2A and 41/2B

shall be added after the S.F.No:40.

Under the heading “Agricultural land use” the expression S.F.Nos: 41 shall be deleted and the expression S.F.Nos: 41

(except 41/1A1,41/1A2,41/1B1,41/1B2,41/2A and 41/2B) shall be substituted.

Variation to the Review Approved Navalpattu, New Town Development Plan

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section 1 of Section 30 of the Tamil Nadu Town and Country

Planning Act 1971 (Tamil Nadu Act 35 of 1972) the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby published the approval

of the Government under section 28 of the said Act for the New Town Development Plan for the Navalpattu

New Town Development Area in exercise of the powers conferred by the G.O.Ms.No. 180, Housing and Urban

Development Department dated 19.07.2006 which has been published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette

Part II—Section 2, Page No.300 & 301 dated 06.09.2006 the following variations are made to the Navalpattu

New Town Development Area for the Navalpattu New Town Development Plan approved under the said act

and published in the Housing and Urban Development Department notification No.II(2)/HOU/463/2006 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette.

Modified Master Plan of Kancheepuram local Planning Authority approved under the said act and published in the

G.O. (Ms) No.139, Housing and Urban Development Department, dated 10.05.2002, Notification No.21. at page

No.310 of Part lI—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 29.05.2002.

In the Kancheepuram Modified master plan under the heading permitted land use in various survey numbers of

Kancheepuram Local Planning Area under heading in Village No.26 Putheri Village Page No.73 the following entries

should be made.

Under the heading I (b) Mixed Residential use Zone the expression SF.Nos.38/3A1B shall be added before the

Survey Number 54

Under the heading VI (C) Agriculture, the following survey numbers shall be added after 27 to 38 (Except 38/3A1B).

2. In exercise of powers delegated by the Government in G.O.(Ms). No.102, Housing and Urban Development

[UD4(L. Re-1)] Department, dated: 18.08.2021, the following variations are made to the approved Master Plan

of Salem Local Planning Area approved in the G.O.(Ms). No.105, Housing and Urban Development [UD4(2)]

Department, dated:22.03.2005 and published in Tamil Nadu Government Gazette Notification No. 14 at

Page No. 168 of Part Il—Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette dated 13.04.2005.

In the Approved Salem Master Plan, under the heading permitted Land use in survey numbers of Salem Local

Planning Area, under heading V.No.74. Neikkarapatti Village in Page No.112-113, the following entries of S.F.Nos.99,

140 & 141 should be made accordingly.

Under the heading "AGRICULTURAL USE" and under the sub-heading "AG-42", the expressions "S.F.No.99 to

106" shall be deleted and the expressions "99 to 106 (Excluding S.F.Nos. 99/1 & 99/2)" shall be substituted.

Under the heading "AGRICULTURAL USE" and under the sub-heading "AG-42", the expressions "S.F.No.117 to

141" shall be deleted and the expressions "117 to 141 (Excluding S.F.Nos.140/1B2, 140/1B3, 140/1B4, 140/1B5B,

141/1B1, 141/3A, 141/3B, 141/5 & 141/6B)" shall be substituted.

After the heading "WATER BODIES", the following heading and expression shall be added.
