of consolidated stamp duty of Rs.95,00,000/- (Rupees
Ninety Five Lakh Only) chargeable under the said Act in

Twenty Five Lakh only) chargeable under the said Act in
respect of issue of insurance policies by the United India
Insurance Company Limited, Regional Office, Coimbatore,

No.II(2)/HO/113/2026.—In exercise of the powers
conferred by the proviso to sub section (1) of section 9
of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023
(Central Act 46 of 2023), the Governor of Tamil Nadu,
after consultation with the High Court, Madras, hereby
makes the following amendment to the Home Department
Notification No. II(2)/HO/1795/80, published at page No.
289 of Part II Section 2 of the Tamil Nadu Government
Gazette, dated the 30th April, 1980 as subsequently
amended, namely:
Amendment
In the said Notification, for the expression "covering
the entire district of Thanjavur" the expression "arising
from the jurisdiction of Thanjavur, Ariyalur, Mayiladuthurai,
Nagapattinam, Perambalur, Pudukkottai, Tiruchirappalli
and Tiruvarur" shall be substituted.
