In exercise of the power conferred by sub-section (1) of section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Urban Local Bodies Act, 1998

(Tamil Nadu Act 9 of 1999), the Director of Municipal Administration, hereby fixes the total number of councillors of Harur

Municipal Council as 24 inclusive of its chairperson with effect on and from the next general election.
