conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 9

of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899),

the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following

amendment to the Notification No.II(2)/CTR/1112/2025

published in page 696 of Part II—Section 2 of the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.40, dated 08.10.2025.

Amendment.

a) For the expression "Rs.15,00,000/- (Rupees Fifteen

Lakh Only)" appearing in the said notification, the

expression "Rs.40,00,000/- (Rupees Forty Lakh

Only)" shall be substituted.

b) For the expression "20.07.2026" appearing in the

said notification, the expression, "05.03.2027", shall

be substituted.

No.II(2)/ECCF/353/2026.—In exercise of the powers

conferred by section 4 of the Tamil Nadu Forest Act,

1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby declares that it is proposed to

constitute the land within the boundaries specified in

the Schedule below as a reserved forest and appoints

the Special Tahsildar (Forest Settlement) Sivagangai,

ex-officio to be the Forest Settlement Officer to exercise

the powers under clause (c) of the said section in respect

of the said land.

conferred by the last paragraph of Section 4 of the

Tamil Nadu Forest Act, 1882 (Tamil Nadu Act V of 1882), the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoints the District Forest

Officer, Sivagangai, as ex-officio to attend on behalf of the

Government at the inquiry prescribed under Chapter- II of

the said Act, in respect of the land of Aranmanai Siruvayal

Keelapoongudi forest block Bit I, II and III proposed to be

constituted as reserved forests.

In the Government Order first read above, orders

have been issued for conferment of certain powers of

Registrar under the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies

Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of 1983) to the officers of the

Handlooms and Textiles Department.

2. In the Government Order second read above,

orders have been issued for conferment of certain powers

of Registrar under the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies

Rules, 1988 to the officers of the Handlooms and Textiles

Department.

3. In the Government Order third read above, orders

have been issued for bifurcation of Commissionerate

of Handlooms and Textiles into Commissionerate of

Handlooms and Commissionerate of Textiles.

4. In the Government Order fourth read above,

the Government have been appointed Commissioner of

Textiles and Commissioner of Handlooms as Registrar

of Co-operative Societies for the State of Tamil Nadu

in respect of the Co-operative Societies under their

administrative control.

5. In the letter fifth read above, the Commissioner

of Textiles has stated that consequent on the coming

into force of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Societies

Act, 1983 and the appointment of Director of Textiles

as the Registrar of State of Tamil Nadu in respect of

certain Co-operative institutions specified in Government

Order fourth read above, the Director of Textiles has

requested certain powers of the Registrar under the

said act may be conferred on the officers of the Textiles

Department.

6. After detailed examination on the request of

the Director of Textiles, the Government consider that

certain powers of the Registrar under the Tamil Nadu

Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of

1983) and Rules 1988 may be conferred on the officers

of the Textiles Department. Accordingly, in exercise of

the powers conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu

Co-operative Societies Act, 1983 (Tamil Nadu Act 30 of

1983) and in supersession of all the previous orders on

the subject issued under the said Act, the Governor of

Tamil Nadu hereby confers on the officers specified in

said Act, EXCEPT those referred to in sections 14, 33(4), 33(7), 75, 88, 89, 152(2)(a), 153,

178 and 181 and corresponding rules relevant to the sections mentioned above.

(ii) In respect of ANY APEX SOCIETY, all the powers of Registrar under the said Act, EXCEPT

those referred to in sections 12, 14, 18, 32(2)(a), 33(4), 33(7), 35, 36, 66, 68, 69, 75, 76, 77,

88, 89, 137(1), 140, 142, 152(2)(a), 153, 164, 166, 178 and 181 and corresponding rules

relevant to the sections mentioned above.

(iii) In respect of ANY CENTRAL SOCIETY, all the powers of Registrar under the said Act,

EXCEPT those referred to in sections 12, 14, 32(2)(a), 33(4), 33(7), 36, 66, 68, 69, 75, 88,

89, 137(1), 140, 142, 152(2)(a), 153, 178 and 181 and corresponding rules relevant to the

sections mentioned above.

Handloom

Control

Officer

(i) In respect of ANY REGISTERED SOCIETY, all the powers of Registrar under sections

72, 80, 87, 90, 118, 129, 143 and 144 of the said Act subject to the condition that the

Handloom control Officer shall so exercise the powers of under Section 87 or under section

90 only in respect of monetary losses involving a sum not exceeding Rs.2,00,000/- and

under section 144 only in respect of cases involving a sum not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- and

corresponding rules relevant to the sections mentioned above.

(ii) In respect of ANY PRIMARY SOCIETY, all the powers of Registrar under sections 21, 24,

32(3), 32(4), 32(5), 81, 82 and 85 of the said Act.

Handloom Officer

(i) In respect of ANY REGISTERED SOCIETY, all the powers of Registrar under sections

72, 80, 87, 90, 118, 129, 143 and 144 of the said Act subject to the condition that the

Handloom control Officer shall so exercise the powers of under Section 87 or under section

90 only in respect of monetary losses involving a sum not exceeding Rs.2,00,000/- and

under section 144 only in respect of cases involving a sum not exceeding Rs.1,00,000/- and

corresponding rules relevant to the sections mentioned above.

(ii) In respect of ANY PRIMARY SOCIETY, all the powers of Registrar under sections 21, 24,

32(3), 32(4), 32(5), 81, 82 and 85 of the said Act.

7. The Director of Handlooms is requested to ensure

that a copy of this order is displayed on the notice board of

all the Co-operative Institutions under his/her control. He/

she is also requested to make it clear that the appeal or

revision will lie with the Government against the exercise

of powers conferred in this order.

WHEREAS,

complaints

received

from a number of depositors that Messrs Velava Real

Promoters, Tiruvarur and its sister concerns, the financial

establishments, have defaulted the return of deposits

made by the depositors after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that

the said financial establishments are not likely to return

the deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, the immovable properties specified

in the Schedule to this order are alleged to have been

procured / maintained by the said financial establishments

from and out of the deposits collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of

Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable properties of the defaulted financial

establishments Messrs Velava Real Promoters, functioned

at Keelaveethi, Tiruvarur and its sister concerns, as

specified in the Schedule to this order and transfers

the control over the said immovable properties to the

Competent Authority, namely, the Superintendent of Police,

Central Zone, Economic Offences Wing, appointed under

the said Act.

2. The Competent Authority / Superintendent

of Police, Central Zone, Economic Offences Wing is

requested to pursue further action in accordance with the

procedure laid down in sub-sections (3) and (4) of section

4 of the said Act and also the formalities prescribed in the

Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Rules, 1997.

3. The District Revenue Officers, Mayiladuthurai,

Cuddalore and Tiruvarur Districts are requested to

render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority/

Superintendent of Police, Central Zone, Economic

Offences Wing, in attachment process on the properties

located in their district, which are attached in the Schedule

to this order.

4. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court

for the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors

is requested to render necessary assistance to the

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of

Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching

the immovable properties of A2-M.Radha Krishnan

(Proprietor) of the defaulted financial establishment Messrs

Sri Tejomayananda Finance, functioned at Vattavilai,

Pacode Post, Kanniyakumari District, as specified in the

Schedule to this order and transfers the control over the

said immovable property to the Competent Authority,

namely, the Competent Authority and District Revenue

Officer, Kanniyakumari District appointed under the said

Act.

2. The Competent Authority and District Revenue

Officer, Kanniyakumari District is requested to pursue

further action in accordance with the procedure laid down

in sub-sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the said Act and

also the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection

of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Rules, 1997.

3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for

the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in

Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Madurai is requested

to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority

and District Revenue Officer, Kanniyakumari District in

filing the application before the Special Court constituted

under the said Act.

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a

number of depositors that Messrs Star Vision Innovative

Marketing Private Limited, Rajapalayam, Virudhunagar

District, a financial establishment, has defaulted the return

of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;

AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that

the said financial establishment is not likely to return the

deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government

have to protect the interests of such depositors;

AND WHEREAS, the immovable property specified

in the Schedule to this Order are alleged to have been

procured by the said financial establishment from and out

of the deposits collected from the depositors;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers

conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of

Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)

Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of

Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching

Government of Tamil Nadu are of opinion that the ancient

monument specified in the Schedule below requires

protection under the Tamil Nadu Ancient and Historical

Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act,

1966 (Tamil Nadu Act 25 of 1966);

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of powers conferred

by sub-section (1) of section 3 of the said Act, the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby gives two months notice of

the intention to declare the said ancient monuments to be

protected monuments;

Notice is hereby given that the proposal will be taken

into consideration on or after the expiry of two months

from the date of publication of this Notification in the

Tamil Nadu Government Gazette and that any objection or

suggestion, which may be received with respect to thereof,

before the expiry of the said period of two months

will be considered by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Objections or Suggestions if any, should be addressed

to the Additional Cheif Secretary to Government,

பழங்கால சின்னத்தினைை‰ பாதுகாக்கப்பட்ட நினைை‰வுச் சின்னமாாக

அறிவிக்க தாம் கருதுவதாாக குறிப்பிட்டு, இதற்கு இரண்டு மாாத

கால அவகாாசம் அளிக்கிறார்.
