“WHEREAS the Seventeenth Legislative Assembly of the State of Tamil Nadu has been duly constituted

in accordance with the Constitution of India and has to be summoned to meet for its first session under the

provisions of the Constitution.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred upon me by clause (1) of Article 174 of the Constitution

of India, I, RAJENDRA VISHWANATH ARLEKAR, Governor of Tamil Nadu, hereby summon the Legislative Assembly

of the State of Tamil Nadu to meet for its First session at 9.30 A.M. on Monday, the 11th May, 2026 in the

Assembly Chamber, Secretariat, Chennai-600 009.
