conferred by subsection (1) of section 32 of the Protection
of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 (Central Act
32 of 2012), the Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby appoint
Tmt.V.Ellammal, Advocate and Special Public Prosecutor,
Mahila Court (FTC), Thoothukudi as Special Public
Prosecutor for the purpose of conducting exclusively the
prosecution on Thoothukudi District Kulathur PS Cr.No.118
of 2026 before the Special Court for exclusive trial of cases
filed under Protection of Children from Sexual Offences
Act, 2012, Thoothukudi.

No.II(2)/HO/409/2026.—Under section 6 of the Delhi
Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (Central Act
XXV of 1946) read with section 21 of the General Clauses
Act, 1897 (Central Act X of 1897), the Government
of Tamil Nadu accords its consent to the extension of
powers and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi
Special Police Establishment (DSPE) for registering a
Regular case against the public servant, Shri B.Sekhar,
the then Cash-in-Charge, State Bank of India, Kethanur
Branch, Tiruppur under Section 13(2) read with Section
13(1)(e) of the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and
under Section 13(2) read with Section 13(1)(b) of the
Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018)
and private individual viz. Smt. Vasantha Vimala, wife of
Shri B.Sekhar as they have prima-facie committed the
offences punishable under Section 109 IPC read with
Section 13(2) read with 13(1)(e) of the Prevention of
Corruption Act, 1988 and under Section 109 IPC read
with Section 13(2) read with 13(1)(b) of the Prevention of
Corruption Act, 1988 (as amended in 2018).

No.II(2)/HO/410/2026.—Under Section 6 of the
Delhi Special Police Establishment Act, 1946 (Act XXV
of 1946) read with Section 21 of the General Clauses
Act, 1897 (Central Act X of 1879), the Government of
Tamil Nadu accords its consent to the extension of powers
and jurisdiction of the members of the Delhi Special
Police Establishment for registration of the case and
conduct the investigation of offences punishable under
section 109 of IPC and Section 13(2) read with 13(1)(e)
of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and Section 13(2)
read with 13(1)(b) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988
(as amended in 2018) and substantive offences thereof
against Shri N.Rengaraj, IRS, then Chief Commissioner
of Income Tax, Chennai & Smt.R. Uma Maheshwari for
commission of offences punishable under the said Acts and
any other offences committed in the course of transaction
arising out of the same fact, in regard to this case, within
the whole State of Tamil Nadu.

conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of
Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)
Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of
Tamil Nadu hereby makes the following amendment to
the Home Department Notification No.II(2)/HO/431/2025,
published at pages 305 to 309 of Part II—Section 2 of
the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.18, dated the
7th May, 2025.
Amendment.
In the said Notification, in the Schedule, under the
heading “ABSTRACT”, against serial number 1, for the
expression “Vehicle (Four Wheeler)”, the expression
“Vehicle (Two Wheeler)”, shall be substituted.

the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette No.47, dated the
26th November, 2025.
Amendment.
In the said Notification, in the Schedule, in column (5),
for the expressions “08/1” and “19/1” against Serial
Nos.8 and 9 respectively in column(1), under the Heading
“(i) Details of immovable properties”, the expressions
“108/1” and “119/1” shall respectively be substituted.

WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a
number of depositors that Messrs Gopi Chit Fund, Trichy
District, a financial establishment, has defaulted the return
of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;
AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that
the said financial establishment is not likely to return the
deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government
have to protect the interests of such depositors;
AND WHEREAS, an immovable property as specified
in the Schedule to this Order are alleged to have been
procured by the said financial establishment from and out
of the deposits collected from the depositors;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers
conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of
Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)
Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of
Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching
the immovable property owned by the accused No.2- Gopi,
S/o. Jeyaraj of the financial establishment Messrs Gopi Chit
Fund, functioned at No.5/1-1, KR Colony, R.S.Vaiyampatti,
Trichy District, as specified in the Schedule to this
order and transfers the control over the property to the
Competent Authority, namely, the Competent Authority /
District Revenue Officer, Trichy District, appointed under
the said Act.
2. The Competent Authority / District Revenue
Officer, Trichy District, is requested to pursue further
action in accordance with the procedure laid down in sub-
sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the said Act and also
the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection
of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)
Rules, 1997.
3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for
the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in
Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Madurai is requested
to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority

The following Government Order is published:-

Order:- No. 59, Home (Police-XIX), dated 17th April 2026.
WHEREAS, complaints have been received from a
number of depositors that Messrs Sri Amman Enterprises,
Trichy District, a financial establishment, has defaulted the
return of deposits made by the depositors after maturity;
AND WHEREAS, the Government are satisfied that
the said financial establishment is not likely to return the
deposits to the depositors and hence, the Government
have to protect the interests of such depositors;
AND WHEREAS, in addition to the immovable
properties ad-interimly attached in the Government Order
first read above, the immovable properties specified in the
Schedule to this Order are alleged to have been procured
by the said financial establishment from and out of the
deposits collected from the depositors;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers
conferred by section 3 of the Tamil Nadu Protection of
Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)
Act, 1997 (Tamil Nadu Act 44 of 1997), the Governor of
Tamil Nadu, hereby, makes an ad-interim order attaching
the immovable properties owned by the accused
G.Thangam, S/o.A.Ganesan of the financial establishment

Messrs Sri Amman Enterprises, functioned at No.40/52,
Keelakalnayakkan Street, Woraiyur, Trichy, as specified
in the Schedule to this Order and transfers the control
over the properties to the Competent Authority, namely,
the Competent Authority/District Revenue Officer, Trichy
District, appointed under the said Act.
2. The Competent Authority / District Revenue
Officer, Trichy District, is requested to pursue further
action in accordance with the procedure laid down in sub-
sections (3) and (4) of section 4 of the said Act and also
the formalities prescribed in the Tamil Nadu Protection
of Interests of Depositors (in Financial Establishments)
Rules, 1997.
3. The Special Public Prosecutor, Special Court for
the Tamil Nadu Protection of Interests of Depositors (in
Financial Establishments) Act, 1997, Madurai is requested
to render necessary assistance to the Competent Authority /
District Revenue Officer, Trichy District in filing the
application before the Special Court constituted under the
said Act.
