ACQUISITION OF LANDS
NOTICE UNDER SUB-SECTION (1) OF SECTION (15) OF THE TAMIL NADU HIGHWAYS ACT, 2001

The Government of Tamil Nadu having been satisfied that the lands specified in the Schedule below to be acquired
for the “Construction of ROB at Km 0/2 of Sedapalayam-Vaaikalpalayam Town Panchayat Road branching at Km
2/6 of the Road from Kamanaickenpalayam – Annur Road to Vadukankalipalayam at Railway Km 457/9-11 in lieu
of existing LC.No.137 in between Vanjipalayam and Somanur Railway Stations” in Karumathampatti (Sedapalayam)
Village, Sulur Taluk & Coimbatore District and it having already been decided that the amount of compensation to be
awarded for the lands are to be paid out of the funds controlled or managed by the Divisional Engineer, Highways
(Project Division), Coimbatore. The following notice is issued under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu
Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002).
NOTICE
Under sub-section (1) of Section 15 of the Tamil Nadu Highways Act, 2001 (Tamil Nadu Act 34 of 2002), the
Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby acquires the lands specified in the Schedule below measuring an addl. extent of
5.83 Sq.mtrs., to the same, a little more or less needed for the “Construction of ROB at Km 0/2 of Sedapalayam-
Vaaikalpalayam Town Panchayat Road branching at Km 2/6 of the Road from Kamanaickenpalayam – Annur
Road to Vadukankalipalayam at Railway Km 457/9-11 in lieu of existing LC.No.137 in between Vanjipalayam and
Somanur Railway Stations” in Karumathampatti (Sedapalayam) Village, Sulur Taluk & Coimbatore District.
The Plan of the land is kept in the office of the Special District Revenue Officer (LA), Highways in Coimbatore may
be inspected on any day during the office hours.
