No.II(2)/CTR/493/2026.—In exercise of the powers

conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 9 of

the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (Central Act II of 1899), the

Governor of Tamil Nadu hereby provides for the payment of

the consolidated stamp duty of Rs.1,00,00,000/- (Rupees

One Crore Only) chargeable under the said Act in respect

of issue of insurance policies by all the branches under

Vellore Division of the Life Insurance Corporation of India,

Divisional Office, Vellore for the period from 01.04.2026 to

30.09.2026.
