SOCIAL SECURITY SCHEME FOR TRANSPORT DRIVERS, HOME GUARDS, WORKING JOURNALISTS

OF THE TELANGANA STATE - OPERATIONAL GUIDELINES OF THE SCHEME INCLUSION OF

NON-TRANSPORT DRIVERS IN THE ACCIDENTAL INSURANCE SCHEME .

[G.O.Ms.No.18, Labour, Employment, Training & Factories (Labour), 31^st March, 2018.]

In exercise of the powers conferred under Section 3 (4) of the Unorganized Workers’ Social Security Act,

2008 (Central Act No.33 of 2008), the Government of Telangana hereby designate the “Commissioner of Transport”

as Master Policy Holder in place of the “Commissioner of Labour, Telangana, Hyderabad and also designates

“Assistant Motor Vehicle Inspectors of Transport Department” as “Registering Authority” and “Claim Receiving

Authority” in place of “Assistant Labour Officers of Labour Department” for Transport and Non-Transport Auto

Drivers duly amending G.O.MsNo.20, LET&F (Lab) Dept., dated: 23.06.2015 read with G.O.Ms.No.24, LET&F

(Lab) Dept., dated: 25.07.2015 and G.O.Ms.No.32, LET&F (Lab) Department, dated: 23.08.2017 for effective

implementation of Social Security Scheme for “Transport & Non-Transport Auto Drivers in Telangana State.
