FINAL NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (4) of section 35

read with section 153 of the Telangana Charitable and Hindu Religious

Institutions and Endowments Act, 1987 (Act No. 30 of 1987), the Government

of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana

Charitable and Hindu Religious Institutions and Endowments Common Goods

Funds Rules, 2005 : -

AMENDMENT

In the said rules, for rule 14, the following rule shall be substituted,

namely,-

“14. The Grant made by the Committee to any institution shall stand

lapsed, if it is not utilized within (5) years from the date of its sanction, subject

to extension of time by (1) year in deserving cases at the discretion of the

Commissioner for the reasons to be recorded. No release of sanctioned

grant shall be made beyond (6) years.”
