PROHIBITION OF STRIKES UNDER THE PROVISIONS OF TELANGANA ESSENTIAL SERVICES

MAINTENANCE ACT, 1971.

The Government have declared the services of Ayas in Shishuvihar Hyderabad as “ Essential Services”

under item (VI) of Clause (a) of sub-section (1) of Section 2 of the Telangana Essential Services Maintenance Act,

1971 (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971).

And, whereas the Government are satisfied that in public interest, it is necessary and expedient to prohibit

strikes in the said Essential service.

Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of Telangana Essential

Services Maintenance Act, 1971, (Andhra Pradesh Act 20 of 1971), (Adopted for the State of Telangana vide

G.O.Ms. No. 45, Law (F) Department, dated: 01-06-2016) the Government of Telangana State, hereby prohibit

strikes in Shishuvihar Hyderabad / Specialized Adoption Agencies, Hyderabad for a period of six months with effect

from 24-04-2018.
