AMENDMENT TO TELANGANA STATE HANDLOOMS AND TEXTILES SUBORDINATE SERVICE
SPECIAL RULES.
[G.O.Ms. No. 30, Industries & Commerce (Textile), 26th April, 2018.]
In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to Article 309 and of all the powers here-unto enabling the
Governor of Telangana hereby makes the following amendment to the Telangana Handlooms and Textiles Subordinate
Service Rules issued in G.O.Ms.No. 17, Industries and Commerce (HL) Department, dated: 06-02-1995.
AMENDMENT
In the said rules in Rule-3, in Note below the table:-
(i)
The Note-2(a) shall be omitted.
(ii)
Note 2(b) and Note 2(c) shall be read as Note 2(a) and Note 2(b) respectively.
(iii)
For Note-2(a), the following shall be substituted:
2(a) “The appointment to the posts of Assistant Development Officer (H&T), other than direct
recruitment shall be made by promotion from the eligible and suitable Ministerial cadre i.e., Junior
Assistant, Typist, Junior Stenographers”
(iv)
For Note-2(b), the following shall be substituted:
2(b) “Out of every (10) vacancies of Assistant Development Officers (H&T), the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th,
6th, 7th, & 10th vacancy shall be filled by direct recruitment and three vacancies i.e. 2nd, 8th
& 9th vacancy shall be filled by appointment by transfer of eligible Ministerial staff i.e., Junior
Assistant, Typist, Junior Stenographer prepared from a common list in the order of their dates of
appointment from each Zone, who are full members or approved probationer”
Note: The amendment will come into force with effect from the year 2006.
