CHANGE OF NOMENCLATURE OF THE “POLICE COMMUNICATIONS ORGANISATION” AS

“POLICE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND COMMUNICATIONS ORGANISATION”.

In exercise of the powers conferred by the proviso to article 309 of the Constitution of India and all other

powers hereunto enable, in partial modifications of the orders issued in G.O.Ms.No.14, Home (Police.G)

Department, Dated: 20.01.1995 G.O.Ms.No.217, Home (Police.E) Department, Dated: 14.07.1995 G.O.Ms.

No. 319, Home (Police.E) Department, Dated: 16.10.1995 G.O.Ms.No. 272, Home (Police.G) Department,

Dated: 04.10.1997, the Governor of Telangana State hereby changes the nomenclature of “Police

Communications Organisation” as “Police Information Technology and Communications Organisation”.

The Director General of Police, Telangana State, Hyderabad shall take necessary further action accordingly.
