EXEMPTION OF RAILWAY PROJECT i.e., “CONSTRUCTION OF 3^rd LINE BETWEEN

RAGHAVAPURAM AND KAZIPET STATIONS IN BALHARSHAH TO KAZIPET SECTION IN

KARIMNAGAR DISTRICT” UNDER THE RIGHT TO FAIR COMPENSATION AND

TRANSPARENCY IN LAND ACQUISITION, REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT

(TELANGANA AMENDMENT) ACT, 2016.

“In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10A(e) in Chapter III-A of the RFCTLA&RR (Telangana

Amendment) Act, 2016 (Act.No. 21 of 2017), Government have decided and accordingly hereby, in the public

interest, exempt the Railway project, “Construction of 3^rd line between Raghavapuram and Kazipet stations in

Balharshah to Kazipet section in Karimnagar District”, from the application of the provisions of Chapter-II and

Chapter-III of the RFCTLA&RR Act, 2013.” It is also certified that the efforts have been made in finalizing the

minimum extent of land required for the said project.

Accordingly, the District Collector, Karimnagar shall take further necessary action in the matter.
