DECLARATION OF PROPERTY AS ESCHEATED IN TEEGALGUDA VILLAGE, SAIDABAD MANDAL,
HYDERABAD DISTRICT. UNDER A.P. ESCHEATS & BONA VACANTIA ACT, 1974.

PRProceeding No. B2/360/2014.- Whereas it is brought to the notice of undersigned vide reference 1st cited
that the owner of TS.No.5, Block-L, Ward No. 167 and TS.No.6, Block-L, Ward No. 167 correlated to Sy.No. 12 to
an extent of 628 Sq. Yds. Saleemnagar, Teegalguda Village, Saidabad Mandal is vacant on ground since long time
and that there are no claimants for that land and many people are trying to grab the unclaimed vacant land admeasuring
628 Sq. Yds. at Saleemnagar, colony.
Accordingly, the undersigned has decided to initiate action under the provisions of A.P. Eshceats & Bona
vacantia Act, 1974 and vide reference 2nd cited directed the Revenue Divisional Officer, Hyderabad to conduct a
preliminary enquiry and furnish a report.
Whereas after having got the matter enquired, RDO, Hyderabad vide reference 3rd cited has reported that the
subject land is surrounded by structures and the is vacant since (60) years under a layout of Hyderabad Housing
Society and there is no rightful owner for the said land and certain individuals who do not have proper documents are
claiming the subject land and the local public also contend the same and enquiry also confirms the same. Hence, it is
a fit case for initiating action under Bonavacantia Act 1974.

Accordingly, a personal inspection with Additional Joint Collector and Deputy Inspector of Survey on
30-08-2014 confirms the above facts. Therefore, orders U/s 9 of A.P. Bonavacantia Act, 1974 have been invoked
since the land is vacant on ground and authorization was given to the Tahsildar to takeover possession of the said
vacant land and keep in her custody till the procedure laid down under the Act, is completed and possession has been
taken over on 18-09-2014 under the cover of panchanama and as per the measurements shown by the Mandal
Surveyor a sketch, a copy of TSLR and a copy of Panchanama has been enclosed. The schedule of the said
property as mentioned pertaining to the subject land in the sketch is as follows:
NORTH :
TS.No.4, Block-E, Ward No. 167 (Pre.No. 16-11-20/13/5/2/1).
SOUTH :
TS.No.16, Block-L, Ward No. 167 covered by Road of Hyderabad Society.
EAST
:
TS.No.7, Block-L, Ward No. 167 (Old Pre.No.16-11-20/4/1/2 of Hyderabad
Society).
WEST
:
TS.No.4, Block-L, Ward No. 167 (Pre.No. 16-11-20/4/1/1 of Hyderabad
Society).
Further, the facts of the case were upraised to the Chief Commissioner Land Administration vide reference
4th cited.
Thus the said property which is not in the possession of any person has been taken over into the custody of
local officer fulfilling requirement under section 9 of A.P. Escheats and Bonavacantia Act, 1974, after taking over
the property into the custody, a notice has been published under 11 (1) of the Act in the news papers viz., Eenadu
daily, Times of India daily & Hindi Milap daily on 16-02-2015. Further, same has been published in the office of the
Collector, Tahsildar, Saidabad and at the site of the property and same was informed to the general public by a beat
of Tom Tom and the a notice was also been published in Gazette No. 03. dated: 07-07-2015 calling any claims/
objections. Further, the three months period which is stipulated under the act to receive objections if any from the
interested persons would was expired on 16-05-2015. whereas no claims/objections have been received during the
said three months period.
In view of the facts and circumstances stated above, in accordance with the powers vested in the undersigned
under Section 11 (2) of the Act, it is hereby declared that the subject land falls in TS.No.5, Block-L, Ward No. 167
TS.No.6, Block-L, Ward No. 167 correlated to Sy.No. 12 to an extent of 628 Sq.Yds. Saleemnagar, Teegalguda
Village, Saidabad Mandal with the schedule as mentioned below, is escheated to Government.
