NO CONFIDENCE MOTION AGAINST SMT. SURVI LAVANYA, CHAIRPERSON, BHONGIR MUNICIPAL

COUNCIL - REMOVAL OF THE CHAIRPERSON FROM OFFICE.

Whereas, a motion expressing no confidence against Smt. Survi Lavanya, Chairperson, Bhongir Municipal

Council of Yadadri Bhuvanagiri District was moved under Section 46 of the Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965.

And whereas, in a meeting for the purpose of considering the above motion was held on 24.07.2018 at

11:00 AM.

And whereas, when the said motion was put to vote, it was supported by 23 members out of a total number of

32 members and thus motion was passed with requisite majority.

Now, therefore , in exercise of the powers conferred under Sub section 6 of Section 46 of Telangana

Municipalities Act, 1965; the Government hereby removes Smt. Survi Lavanya, Chairperson, Bhongir Municipal

Council from office with effect from the date of publication of this notification in the Telangana Gazette.
