CONDUCT OF ELECTION TO FILL UP THE CASUAL VACANCY IN THE OFFICE OF CHAIRPERSON

OF BHONGIR MUNICIPALITY IN YADADRI BHONGIR DISTRICT.

No. 612/TSEC-ULBs/2018-1:-In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 243-ZA of Constitution of

India, Sections 10 A and 10 B read with Section 23 of Telangana Municipalities Act, 1965, (Act 6 of 1965) and Rule

3, 4 and 8 of the Telangana Municipalities (Conduct of Election of Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson) Rules, 2005,

the State Election Commissioner, hereby, directs the Collector and District Election Authority, Yadadri Bhongir District

to authorize a Gazetted Officer of the Government to conduct election to the casual vacancy in the office of

Chairperson, Bhongir Municipality, in Yadadri Bhongir District in accordance with the procedure laid down in

the said Act and Rules and fixes the schedule for the said election in the Annexure appended to this Notification.

in clauses (i) to (iv) of sub-section (2) of Section 5 of Telangana Municipalities

Act, 1965. (duly indicating the note mentioned below)
